MIIN’s immersion-network consists of programs that provide ojibwe-medium instruction (immersion), or ojibwe-medium resources. MIIN’s current Network includes more than a dozen programs. These programs are currently serving students from birth through adulthood.
MIIN Immersion-network partners participate in initiatives including stakeholder meetings, professional development opportunities and data collection. MIIN offers specific services to its partner network including access to first language speakers, the Wiidanokiinding grant, immersion data collection, curriculum and material collection for organization and dissemination.
MIIN’s network is expanding to include non-immersion programs. These partners include Lac Courte Oreilles University, Bemidji State University, Nashke Games, and several BIE and public school districts in Minnesota.
